Royersford Borough is a member of the Spring-Ford Area School District.

Royersford is positioned at 40 11 7 N 75 32 16 W (40.185239, -75.537648). The borough lies on the northern banks of the Schuylkill River, and is considered a suburb of Philadelphia.

According to the United States Enumeration Bureau, the borough has a total region of 0.8 square miles (2.1 km2), of which, 0.8 square miles (2.1 km2) of it is territory and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km2) of it (4.88%) is water.

As of the 2010 census, the borough was 89.7% White, 5.1% Black or African American, 0.2% Native American, 1.7% Asian, and 2.4% were two or more competitions.

As of the census of 2000, there were 4,246 citizens , 1,928 homeholds, and 1,066 families residing in the borough.
